Turning your CDMA HTC HERO into a "SUPERHERO"

Ok, well I was going to make a page to show CDMA HTC HERO owners how to: root, install custom recoveries, ROMS, kernels & other tweaks, to turn our HERO's into "SUPERHERO's", but since there are already countless pages out there that already do this, Im not going to add to the clutter.

Instead, Im just going to provide basic descriptions of these "MODS", & provide links to them as well.

Well I think that will give you a Pretty good start on How to make your HERO a SUPERHERO!
Some tid-bit information on why you should do these "MODS" to your phone.

The HERO was released in 2009 with Android OS 1.5, with Android OS 2.1 (upgrade 1) being the FINAL Android OS pushed out OTA (Over The Air) by our service providers.  Why?, well IMHO they do this to forse people to purchase a NEW phone, that has a better, faster Android OS. Why?, well "FLASH" content isnt supported with Android Phones running 2.1 or below, because "FLASH" only supports Android 2.2 & up, & supposedly only on phones with Android 2.2 + with processors higher than ARMv6 (The Hero's Processor).
So with that being said, thats some of the reasons why to upgrade our HERO's to SUPERHERO's, to get "SOME" FLASH support, better Android OS, which currently is "GingerBread", Android 2.3 - 2.3.4, custom Kernels to "Overclock/Underclock" our ARMv6 528mhz processor to up to 768mhz & or down to 19mhz (some phones cant go that high & max @ 748mhz, while others can go past 800mhz).

Why do any of the above: Better performance, better battery life, less lag vs stock rom & way more customization, it opens your phone up to a whole NEW world.

What Ive done to my SUPERHERO:

Unlimited Fertilization!

This might work for some & not others, SO USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, but you can get unlimited ferts by doing this:
(You will need your User Name & Password)
Go in game, fert your plants as much as you can, then exit game, go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications, go to Garden of Weeden, then clear Data.
Then go back to Garden of Weeden, log back in, & you should have 6 more ferts to use, & repeat as necessary.

A way to almost always get Bat Guano

For the most part, this has 95% of the time always worked for me. If you want Bat Guano to always be in the store, put your phone in "AirPlane" mode before you open the game, & once open, either hold down the "End/Power" button to get phone back out of "AirPlane" mode, or press the "Home" button to get to where you can get your phone out of "AirPlane" mode, then just PRESS & HOLD the "Home" button, to open recent apps, & go back to GOW. If it doesnt give you Bat Guano, it should give you Fish Emulsion, which is better than, veg or flower ferts.

I also believe theres more things you can "exploit" if you put phone in "AirPlane" mode, but I havent gotten to them yet!

Another way to avoid the Police.

Well I found another way to avoid the police & more, but will only work with phones that have the "search" button on the phones face.  When the police come, just press the "search" button, & this will make the "snitch/bribe" pop-up message go away, & from there you can do what you want, ie: go to the store & fert your plants, or whatever you want to do; grind, trim, anything. Now doing this wont make the police "image" go away, but you can still continue to "play".  On another note, if the police/thieves come & you get the pop-up message that they found your gun (which they take from you if you press ok), again, just press the "search" button, & the pop-up message will go away, & you get to keep your gun, & wont have to buy another one, yah!

Tips, Hints and Easter Eggs for Garden of Weeden

These Tips, Hints and Easter Eggs for Garden of Weeden Will most likely be temporary as These are just glitches that I've Found in the game. So when updates are released these easter eggs might not work anymore.

*!*!*!CHEAT OR USE THIS INFORMATION AT YOUR OWN RISK, BECAUSE THERE CAN & ARE NEGATIVE EFFECTS TO SOME OF THIS INFORMATION, SUCH AS NEGATIVE MONEY ISSUES.*!*!*!

1. Tired of worrying about your plants not getting watered and dying, well if your phone has a "search" button on it, just like the HERO has, and the "back" button works too, then worry no more!
* Here's what to do: When the pop up screen comes up saying "oops you forgot to water", don't tap OK, or press any buttons on the phone, instead just press the "search" or "back" button, this will make the popup message go away, then either enter the hydro store and buy a fertilizer, or just water your plants to bring their health back up. Ok and from my research you have about 20-24 hours before health drops to 0 percent.

2. Tired of wasting money on ph up and ph down, then don't.
* Here's what to do: To avoid having to buy a bunch of ph up and ph down, don't buy all your fertilizers at once, and I'll explain why. It doesn't matter if you buy them all at once, or if you spread them out, because it will still take the same amount of time to get to harvest. So do this: When you first start your health will be at 50 percent, and instead of watering, and buying ph up, just let your health drop as much as you can, (you have about 12 hours), then just go to the store and buy a fertilizer, this will bring your health back to 100 percent. Then just let your health drop as much as possible again and repeat the steps until harvested. Oh and if you forget to water, just look at tip number 1.

3. Tired of chat hopping from room to rome to keep up with your friends, well as long as you have a PC or laptop to use, Then you're good to go just follow these steps.
* Note: You still need your phone to chat, Because what I'm describing will only you View Chat not post Chat.
* Here's what to do: Open each link in a new tab or window on your computer. Also replace the "®®" in the links with your information, such as username and password.

4. Wanna keep an eye on the prices of weed and hash on your computer too, so you know when to buy and sell at the right time, pressing F5 refreshes page and prices.

5. Wanna add weed to the weed spot, without having to sell your own, or if you need some and there's not any weed to buy at spot.
* Here's how: put this in your phone or computers web browser: http://gardenofweedengame.com/chat/sellWeed.php?uid=®®&p=®®&grams=0.0, but be sure to replace the "®®" in the link with your information, such as username and password. Then at the end of the link put in how much you want to put and to the weed spot, EG: If you want to put in 99 Grams, Then type in 99.0 At the end of the link, Then just press enter, And quickly go back to the game, Go to buy weed, and you should see your weed in there, And then just buy it. You might have to enter your weed selling link several times before it gets placed, and you have to be really quick to go back to get it. So if I wanted to add 1000 grams to the weed spot the link would look like this: http://gardenofweedengame.com/chat/sellWeed.php?uid=®®&p=®®&grams=1000.0, but of course using my username and password. ***!!!people y'all are getting too carried away with this option, please control yourself, or I'll remove this from my blog and the game too, or EVEN POSSIBLE BANNING.!!!***

6. Wanna avoid the police:
* Here's how, and there are 2 ways. For the first way to work you have to have 0 weed in your safe. When you have 0 weed in your safe, and the police come, just bribe them with the weed, and they will just go away, even though you have no weed to give them.
The second way you can get rid of the police is too when the police come, somehow get out of the game, either by pressing your home button, or by powering your phone off and then back on. Whichever way you get out of the game, then go to phone settings, manage applications, then go to garden of weeden, and clear data and cache, then go back to your game (you might have to log back in), and the police will be gone. Now you don't have to pay them anything.
